Write to us
What do I need to join?

As part of joining, we ask for an ID, a criminal record certificate from Costa Rica's Judiciary and a résumé; we'll tell you how to submit them, and Serena's team reviews them. You build your profile in the Serena app. No check removes every risk, so we recommend that families talk with you before the first visit.

See the requirements

Can I offer more than one service?

Yes. On your profile you choose which services you offer—child care, care for older adults, pet care or home cleaning—and when you're available.

How much does Sertify cost?

Plans and their terms are on Sertify (gosertify.com).

Go to Sertify (opens another site)

Is a Sertify certificate an official credential?

No. Sertify certificates are private: they show that a person completed a training program and its assessment. They do not replace INA credentials or professional licenses.

How do I get paid?

Through the app. In your account settings you connect your payout details, and your performance screen shows your hours and earnings. If you have questions about payouts, write to us.

Where can I offer my services?

Check availability in your area in the app, or write to us.

What language is the app in?

Right now the app's screens are in English, and the app page has a guide to its main buttons. Sertify's text is available in Spanish and English. If anything isn't clear, write to us.
